An injection moulding group project that required complex problem solving in order to design a mould tool to manufacture a mass produced plastic wine stop for ‘yellow tail’ wine.

Manufacturing process
The initial 3D printed prototype was very important to ensure the design was viable, and the engineering drawings proved vital in manufacturing the mould tool to a high degree of accuracy, with a tolerance of +/- 0.02mm.
